I was ordained as a meditation teacher at Still Point Zen Buddhist Temple in Detroit.  My “day job” is teaching college freshmen writing classes.  Last year, I traveled solo in India for a month, seeing Buddhist and Hindu holy sites, and that gave me the travel bug, an itch I haven't been able to scratch as much as I'd like.

My partner, Steve, is a very practical person, and he balances me out nicely.  We're planning to move to Toronto within the next year.  (He's a Canadian citizen, but we live together in the US.)
